• Move furniture if necessary, ensuring access to all areas.
• Secure valuables and fragile items
• Ensure accessibility by unlocking rooms
• Manage Pets and Children (keep out of way of cleaners and equipment)

Kitchen

• Store perishable food, clear countertops
• Empty and clean appliances thoroughly
• Remove items from stovetop and kitchen floor
• Remove items from inside cabinets that are being cleaned
• Empty sinks, dishwashers (we can clear sink and load dishwasher if this is a specified extra)

Bathrooms

• Clear countertops and toilets
• Remove items from shower/tub areas
• Clear bathroom floors and corners
• Remove items from inside cabinets that are being cleaned
• Flush all toilets and ensure no bodily fluids are present

Bedrooms

• Put away clothing and personal items
• Organize nightstands and dressers; clear surfaces
• Remove shoes and clear bedroom floor
• Clean inside closets and organize belongings

Additional Considerations

• Inform the cleaning team about specific areas of concern
• Ensure selected extras (i.e. Appliance Deep Cleans) are communicated to the cleaning team
